Not Realizing Until Now

My time away from work has really cleared my head,
I went to a coupla ballgames,
I drank Becks with Lisa and Fred.
This past week and a half has really fed my soul,
I read some David Sedaris,
In Quogue I pointed out a shoal.

Everyone seemed refreshed to see me,
Catching up with loved ones is a blast,
Lonnie hosted a pesto-off,
Did you know that Joey Welcome's writing a biopic about Howard Fast?

I have to admit
I'm building a facade.
I could cry all the way to Prague,
Going the whole summer without "Phil The Magazine" has put me in a fog.
I mean, do we know anything about that new Del Mar tenant?
Can you guarantee The Bosox will win the pennant?
Where's scenic Rhode Island in its lovely photographed display?
